KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs900 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs425,036 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs771 to Rs364,399.Gold rates increased by $9 to $4,026 per ounce in the international market.
Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs6,289 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood the same at Rs5,391.
