LAHORE:Allah Wale Trust (AWT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences (FJIDS), Lahore, to support deserving students facing financial difficulties.
With this partnership, FJIDS has become the 14th public-sector educational institution to join AWT’s initiative for equitable access to higher education.The MoU was signed by AWT Chairman Shahid Lone and Director Scholarship Programme AWT Prof Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt said AWT aims to ensure that no talented student discontinues education due to financial constraints. He said investment in education was an investment in the country’s future. Under the agreement, selected students will receive full tuition fee coverage, hostel accommodation, mess charges and a monthly stipend of Rs7,000 to continue their education without financial burden.
