LAHORE:The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced admissions for its MS, MPhil, Master's and PhD programmes for the Fall 2026 semester. According to UET spokesperson, Dr Tanveer Qasim, PhD programmes are being offered in the Faculties of Architecture and Planning, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computing, Earth Sciences and Engineering, the Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Engineering (CEWRE), and the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Islamic Studies.
He added that MS, MPhil and Master's programmes are available in morning, evening and weekend sessions in a wide range of disciplines, including Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Petroleum Engineering, Mining Engineering, Architecture, Regional Planning, Islamic Studies, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Food Science, Nanotechnology, MBA, MPA, Management and many other emerging and traditional fields. Modern programmes are also being offered at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Cyber Security, Block 6, Model Town, Lahore.
Dr Tanveer Qasim said that applicants for MS, MPhil and Master's programmes must have completed 16 years of education in the relevant discipline, while applicants for PhD programmes must possess 18 years of education (MS/MPhil or equivalent degree) and fulfil the University's admission requirements.
Online applications can be submitted until August 13, 2026. Admission tests will begin on August 17, 2026, while interviews will be conducted from August 20 to 22, 2026. Classes for the new academic session will commence on September 7, 2026.
