LAHORE : IG Punjab Abdul Kareem is firmly committed to the health welfare of the Punjab Police force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, additional funds of over Rstwo million have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their family members.
Police spokesperson shared the details and said that Sub-Inspector Tahir Abbas has been granted Rs0.3 million for medical treatment, while Sub-Inspector Kazim Hussain has been provided Rs0.25 million for medical expenses.
Constable M Rashid Khan has been released Rs0.24 million for medical treatment. Similarly, ASI Umar Farooq, ASI Nadeem Abbas, and Junior Patrolling Officer Zulfiqar Ali have been provided Rs0.1 million each for their medical treatment.
Lady ASI Safia, Lady Head Constable Shahida Balqees, and Lady Constable Amina Shahzadi have also been granted Rs0.1 million each for medical treatment. Assistant Shahzad Hassan, Head Constable M Ammar, and Driver Constable Javed Iqbal have likewise been provided Rs0.1 million each for medical expenses. In addition, Inspector M Nawaz, ASI M Yaseen, Constable M Abdullah, and Lady Constable Irshad Begum have collectively been granted Rs0.319 million for medical treatment.
IG Punjab said that the welfare of police employees and their families, who remain engaged in protecting the lives and property of citizens, is among the top priorities of Punjab Police.
