The National Highways & Motorway Police South Zone organized a fire safety training session for its officers at the Zonal Office in collaboration with fire safety company Haseen Habib.
Officials said participants received theoretical training on the causes of fire incidents, preventive measures, emergency response procedures and the proper use of firefighting equipment. The session also included practical firefighting drills to enhance officers’ operational skills and preparedness for emergency situations.
DIG Motorway South Zone Javed Akbar Riaz attended the session as the chief guest. Addressing the participants, he said such professional training programmes play a vital role in enhancing officers’ capabilities, protecting lives and property, and ensuring an effective response during emergencies.
