LAHORE: The Virtual University (VU) of Pakistan has opened admissions for the Fall 2026 semester, providing students across Pakistan and abroad an opportunity to enrol in a wide range of academic programmes through its advanced online education system.
Admissions have commenced for MS/MPhil, BS, Associate Degree Programmes (ADPs), B.Ed programmes, diplomas, certificates, short courses, and Zero Semester courses.
The last date for submission of applications for MS/MPhil programmes is September 7, 2026, while applications for all other programmes, except merit-based programmes, will remain open until September 15, 2026.
The MS/MPhil entry test will be held on September 18, 2026, while classes for the Fall 2026 semester will commence on October 5, 2026.
The Virtual University offers academic programmes through its faculties of Arts, Computer Science and Information Technology, Education, Management, and Science and Technology. Its diverse portfolio includes undergraduate, graduate, associate degree, diploma, and certificate programmes tailored to fulfil the academic and professional requirements of learners.
The university has developed a nationwide network of campuses in nearly 140 cities, extending from Skardu to Gwadar, to provide academic and administrative support to students throughout Pakistan, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
