LAHORE:The Secretary Emergency Services, Dr Rizwan Naseer administered the oath to 285 Rescue Interns of the first batch of the Chief Minister Rescue Internship Programme, who completed their professional training at the Emergency Services Academy. He congratulated them and expressed confidence that they would play a vital role in providing timely emergency service.
The Passing-Out Parade of the first batch of the Chief Minister Rescue Internship Programme was held at the Emergency Services Academy (Rescue 1122), here. Provincial Minister for Emergency Services Khawaja Salman Rafique was the chief guest. The event was attended by Parliamentary Secretary for Forestry and Wildlife Qasim Nadeem, Secretary Emergency Services Department Dr Rizwan Naseer, Registrar Emergency Services Academy, Administrator Emergency Services, Directors, Provincial Monitoring Officer, senior officers, Rescue Interns and trainee rescuers across Pakistan.
Provincial Minister for Health and Emergency Services Khawaja Salman Rafique said that, under the CM’s vision, the Rescue Internship Programme is a transformative initiative aimed at equipping young paramedics with advanced emergency medical training, enhanced employment opportunities and a strong commitment to the services of humanity.
