BSEK announces SSC Science Group results, rewards toppers

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Thursday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II (Class 10) annual examinations for the Science Group and special candidates for 2026, while honouring the top-performing students with cash awards and merit certificates.

Under the board’s reward scheme, the first position holder received Rs200,000, the second Rs150,000 and the third Rs100,000. In the Science Group, Muhammad Azlan Syed, son of Miraj Ahmed, of Falcon House Grammar School, North Karachi, secured first position with 94.55 percent marks.

Raja Kamran, daughter of Kamran Ahmed, of Apex School, Model Colony, stood second with 94 per cent marks. Ayesha Adnan, daughter of Syed Muhammad Adnan Saleem, of Usman Public School, Campus-I, North Karachi, secured third position with 93.91 per cent marks.

Controller of Examinations Ahmed Khan Chhutto said 176,152 candidates were registered for the Science Group examinations this year. Of them, 175,200 appeared in the examinations, while 952 remained absent. He said 29,655 candidates were declared unsuccessful.
