Gold prices down Rs1,400 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs1,400 per tola in the local market on Friday following a decline in the international market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs432,436 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs1,200 to Rs370,744. Gold rates decreased by $14 to $4,100 per ounce in the international market.

Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates, however, increased by 11 to Rs6,432 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs10 to Rs5,514.
