RAHIM YAR KHAN: The bodies of eight security personnel martyred in recent terrorist attacks in different parts of Balochistan were airlifted from Quetta to Sheikh Zayed Airport, Rahim Yar Khan, by a special helicopter.
From the airport, the coffins were transported by ambulances to their respective hometowns.
According to official details, the martyrs included Waqar Noon, Muhammad Basharat, Usman Latif, Muhammad Bilal, Zubair Ahmed, Sajjad Ahmed, Waseem Akhtar, and Abdul Shakoor.
Among the martyrs, two belonged to Sahiwal, two to Toba Tek Singh, two to Feroze, one to Bahawalpur, and one to Mirpurkhas.
The bodies were sent from Sheikh Zayed Airport to their native towns, where the martyrs would be laid to rest with full military honours in recognition of their supreme sacrifice.
