KARACHI: Indus Motor Company (IMC) has launched a comprehensive road safety initiative for its employees, combining motorcycle helmet distribution with an in-house learner’s driving licence facility, according to a statement on Wednesday.
As part of the initiative, IMC distributed 300 motorcycle helmets among employees holding valid driving licences, while the company also facilitated an in-house learner’s driving licence service in collaboration with the traffic police. During the event, 275 learner licences were issued to IMC employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Asghar Jamali, chief executive officer of IMC, said that by encouraging helmet use, promoting licensed driving and partnering with public institutions, the company hoped to contribute towards building a safer road culture for everyone in Pakistan.
