KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs3,600 per tola on Thursday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs433,836 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,086 to Rs371,944.
Gold rates increased by $36 to $4,114 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs6,421 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also stood the same at Rs5,504.
