ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced appointments and transfers in the federal bureaucracy.
The additional charge of Barrister Nabeel Awan, Secretary Establishment Division, as Chairman of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has been extended for another three months. The extension will take effect from July 8.
Nasir Iqbal Malik, Additional Secretary, Inter-Provincial Coordination Division, has been transferred and posted to the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore.
The federal government has also extended deputation of Amara Aamir Khattak, a Grade-19 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who is serving as a Coordination Officer with the United Nations Resident Coordination System in Islamabad. Her one-year deputation from June 21, 2025, to June 20, 2026, has been granted ex-post facto approval, while her deputation has been further extended from June 21, 2026, to December 31, 2026. According to the notification, she will report back to the Establishment Division upon completion of extended deputation period.
Meanwhile, Zunaira Jaleel, a Grade-18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed as a Section Officer in Ministry of Finance. The services of Nisha Ishtiaq, Deputy Secretary, Poverty Alleviation Division, have been placed at the disposal of Government of Punjab.
