ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday discussed the situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), along with the country’s overall political environment and key foreign policy priorities.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the two leaders held detailed discussions on Pakistan’s political landscape, regional developments and foreign policy matters.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on the situation in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while also reviewing the country’s broader political environment. They also discussed Pakistan’s stance on key international developments and exchanged views on issues related to the evolving regional and global geopolitical landscape.
Ishaq Dar congratulated Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the formation of government in Gilgit-Baltistan. The PPP chairman thanked the deputy prime minister for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PMLN) support in the formation of an elected government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
