LAHORE:Punjab University (PU) has awarded a PhD in Communication Studies to Dr Hafsa Javed Khawaja for her research titled “News Verification and Sharing Behavior of Social Media Users in Pakistan.” She completed her doctoral research under the supervision of Prof Dr Bushra Hameed Rahman.
Dr Hafsa, who is currently serving as Deputy Director at the Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR), Punjab, successfully defended her thesis during a public PhD defence held at the Punjab University School of Communication Studies.
