KARACHI: Gold prices decreased by Rs4,700 per tola in the local market on Wednesday following a decline in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs430,236 per tola.Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs4,029 to Rs368,858.
Gold rates decreased by $47 to $4,078 per ounce in the international market. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates decreased by 138 to Rs6,421 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also dropped by Rs119 to Rs5,504.
