Stakeholders to meet on Abbottabad Press Club polls

ABBOTTABAD: The District Bar Association Abbottabad has convened a meeting of all key stakeholders to discuss the implementation of government directives and the Peshawar High Court (PHC) orders relating to the long-awaited elections of the Abbottabad Press Club.

According to an official notification issued by the association’s secretary, Asad Khan, the meeting will be held on July 10 at 2pm in the office of the president.The meeting has been convened pursuant to a communication received from the Regional Information Office, Abbottabad, and on the directions of the association’s president, Imran Younas Tanoli, Advocate.

The agenda is to deliberate on the implementation of government directives and the PHC’s orders on the elections of the Abbottabad Press Club.The deputy director of the regional information office, Abbottabad, the former president and general secretary of the Abbottabad Press Club, and the petitioners in Writ Petition No. 343-A/2025, Khurram Shahzad Jadoon and Muhammad Arshad Swati, have been invited to attend the meeting.
