MIRPUR: The Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Tuesday reviewed preparations for holding the July 27 general elections in the state in a free, fair and peaceful manner.
The AJK Election Commission held a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Justice (Retd) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal. The meeting was attended by senior members of election commission Khawaja Muhammad Ahsan and Syed Nazeer-ul-Hassan Gillani, Secretary Election Commission Raja Muhammad Shakeel Khan and other relevant officials.Participants conducted a detailed review of the arrangements made so far for the general elections.
