LAHORE:The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organised a ceremony to honour the position holders of the first and second phases of ECAT Fall 2026.
UET Vice Chancellor DrShahidMunir, position holders, their parents, teachers, faculty members and other officials attended the ceremony.Addressing the gathering, the VC congratulated the successful students and encouraged them to utilise their engineering education for the country’s development, research and innovation.
In the first phase of ECAT Fall 2026, M Sohaib clinched the first position by securing 396 marks. M Muaz Nasir and M Usman Zubair jointly obtained the second position with 392 marks, while M Zakariya Hassan, Daniyal Saeed and Hamza Ahsan Iqbal shared the third position with 388 marks each. In the second phase, Farheen Fatima Zaidi secured first position with 360 marks, followed by M Hassan who stood second with 356 marks. M Ibrahim, WajeehaAamir and Umar Asim jointly secured third position with 352 marks each. The vice chancellor appreciated the hard work of the students and expressed hope that they would play a positive role in advancing engineering education and technological innovation in the country.
