LAHORE:Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said youth participation in politics is vital for national progress. “If politics is done with pure intentions, it is no less than an act of worship,” he stated. He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a capable leader and voice of the youth. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of young students from different universities of Punjab here at Governor’s House on Tuesday. The delegation also included members of the Youth Parliament.
Governor Punjab said that young students are our hope and future. He said that the youth should come into politics and contribute to the betterment of the country. The governor expressed confidence in the capabilities of the youth and said that the youth of Pakistan is very capable. He stated that in his capacity as Chancellor, any student who is denied justice by the Vice Chancellor or the Syndicate has the right to appeal to the governor for intervention. He said that the doors of the Governor’s House are always open for students.
