LAHORE: Pakistan women’s captain Fatima Sana will play only the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka later this month before departing for England to join Birmingham Phoenix for The Hundred.
Her participation makes her the first Pakistani woman cricketer to feature in the prestigious tournament. The ODIs, part of the ICC Women’s Championship, are scheduled for July 23, 25, and 28 at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi. Following the ODIs, Pakistan will contest a three-match T20I series on July 31, August 2, and August 4, which Sana will miss due to her commitment with The Hundred.
