DIG takes action on officers’ grievances, prioritises welfare issues

Islamabad : Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad Police Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an orderly room on Wednesday to ensure the timely and priority resolution of departmental and personal issues faced by Islamabad Police officers.

Officers from the Operations division participated in the orderly room. During the orderly room, police officers presented their personal and official issues to the DIG Islamabad.

Upon which, he instructed senior police officers to complete inquiries into serious matters afresh and issued orders to prioritize and resolve the remaining issues.

On this occasion, he stated that several initiatives have been taken for the welfare of police officials, including housing, better medical facilities and improving the standard of education.

Addressing the officers, he said if you face any issues my office door is always open for you. We all need to work together for the betterment of this city.

He further emphasized that the purpose of organizing the orderly room is to resolve police officers' welfare, personal and official issues on a priority basis.
