BANNU: A transgender person, identified as Iqbal Gul alias Gul Shandana, was seriously injured after unidentified assailants opened fire in the busy Allah Chowk area of Bannu, police sources said on Wednesday.
According to police, the attackers fled after the shooting. The residents rushed the injured victim to the District Headquarters Teaching Hospital, Bannu, where she was admitted to the emergency ward and was receiving medical treatment.
