LAHORE : A false ceiling ofoperation theatre of the plastic surgery department at Lahore General Hospitalcollapsed here on Friday evening.
No one was present in the theatre at the time of the incident, stated LGH MS Professor Faryad Hussain.
LGH Medical Superintendent Professor Dr Faryad Hussain, while presenting a preliminary report to Principal of Amiruddin Medical College Professor Dr Farooq Afzal, said that no patient or employee was present in the operation theatre at the time of the incident, due to which fortunately no one was injured. He said that immediately after the incident, the hospital's Works and Communication departmentwas directed for the restoration of the ceiling, he added.
