BANNU: The building of a basic health unit in the Badda Mir Abbas area, within the jurisdiction of Mandan Police Station, in Bannu was damaged in an explosion on Friday.
According to an official, an explosive device planted at the health facility detonated during the day, resulting in structural damage to the building. Officials said the blast partially damaged the structure of the health unit. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Soon after the explosion, police and security forces reached the scene and cordoned off the area.
