The ongoing gas crisis in Karachi has become a serious concern, especially for ordinary citizens struggling to manage their daily routines. Reliable energy is a basic necessity, yet the current situation shows how difficult it has become for people to meet even simple household needs. The situation has become increasingly difficult for residents across the city. Despite an official schedule claiming, as far as I am aware, 11 hours of supply, gas pressure remains extremely low, making it nearly unusable.

In some areas, many families are left with no choice but to use expensive LPG cylinders, placing a heavy financial burden on middle- and lower-income households. The government must take practical steps to improve supply and ensure fair distribution, while citizens should conserve energy and reporting illegal usage.
