NOWSHERA: A woman was killed and 10 others sustained injuries in a traffic accident that occurred at the Misri Banda Bypass area in Nowshera after the brakes of a motorcycle loader failed on Sunday.
According to reports, all the victims belonged to the same family from Mohabatabad in Mardan district and were going to attend a wedding ceremony at a relative’s house.When the vehicle reached Misri Banda Bypass, its brakes failed, causing it to veer off the road and plunge into nearby fields.
As a result, several family members, including Zubair, Marwa, Aimal, Ayesha, Huzaifa, Sadiqa, Zia and Seema, sustained severe injuries. Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene upon receiving information and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital.However, Seema later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The condition of some of the injured was reported to be serious.
