NOWSHERA: Unknown gunmen looted Rs14.2 million from an oil trader in broad daylight near the China Economic Zone on the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway in the limits of Nowshera and fled the scene.
According to police, the affected trader, Ismatullah, registered a report stating that he was a resident of Kotha area in Swabi and ran a joint business with Al-Hilal Oil Factory in Peshawar.He was travelling from Peshawar to Swabi carrying business cash when four armed robbers, riding in a car, intercepted him on the Motorway.As per the first information report (FIR), the suspects held him at gunpoint, threatened to kill him, and snatched all the cash before escaping.
