SWABI: The district administration seized a large quantity of dead chickens during a raid on a poultry shop in Swabi Bazaar on Thursday.
Assistant Commissioner Headquarters, Swabi, Dr Aleena Shakeel Nagra conducted the operation near the ground area along with the officials of Food Department and police. During the raid, a large number of dead chickens packed in 20 sacks were recovered, while two persons present at the spot were arrested. Dr Aleena Shakeel Nagra told The News that the administration had received information that a consignment of dead chickens had been supplied to a poultry shop.
