MINGORA: The picturesque valley of Kalam has come alive this winter as the much-awaited snow festival officially kicked off on Saturday, transforming the region into a vibrant hub of tourism, sports and cultural celebration.
Blanketed in thick layers of snow, the valley is attracting a large number of domestic tourists eager to experience Kalam’s breathtaking winter charm.
Set against a backdrop of snow-covered mountains and frozen meadows, the festival offers a wide range of winter activities aimed at promoting tourism and engaging both locals and visitors.
The organizers have arranged 17 different snow-based games, including snow kabaddi, skiing, jeep rally, tug-of-war and other adventure sports. The events have created a festive atmosphere, with participants braving the icy conditions with enthusiasm and competitive spirit.
