LAHORE:Twenty-two probation and parole officers took an oath at a ceremony held at Punjab Home Department here on Wednesday.
Secretary Home Punjab, Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi, administered the oath to the officers. According to a Punjab Home Department spokesperson, the appointment of 22 probation and parole officers was made through the Punjab Public Service Commission. The officers completed six weeks of pre-induction training, during which experts from the judiciary, police, prosecution, and academia delivered lectures and conducted field visits.
