LAHORE:Police have paid tribute to martyred Constable Muhammad Asif on his 16th death anniversary. A smartly turned-out police contingent presented a salute, laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha at the grave. Constable Muhammad Asif embraced martyrdom on Feb 4, 2010, during an operation against lawbreakers. He was posted at Gulshan Ravi police station at the time of his martyrdom. In his message on the occasion, Lahore Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana said police martyrs were the true pride of the department.
