The spread of fake news on social media has reached alarming levels, leading to the circulation of false and misleading information. Such content not only threatens national integrity but also creates fear, confusion and distrust among the public.
A strong and effective crackdown by the government and the FIA is urgently needed against those who deliberately spread fake news. At the same time, citizens must be encouraged to verify information before believing or sharing it so that a more responsible and informed society can be built.
