Barjees wins U21 National Snooker title

KARACHI: Islamabad’s Barjees Khan won the 15th U21 Junior National Snooker Championship 2026 after defeating Punjab’s M. Farhan 4–3 in an exciting final at the Jahangir Khan Sports Complex on Saturday.

Barjees Khan took a strong start by winning the first three frames, while M. Farhan made a fine comeback to level the match and take it to the deciding frame. However, Barjees held his nerve to clinch the final frame and secure the title.

Earlier, in the first semifinal, Punjab’s M. Farhan beat Balochistan’s Jahanzaib Jahangir 4–2, while Barjees Khan defeated KPK’s Shahzaib Rafique by the same margin in the second semifinal. Mr. Abdul Qadir Memon, President of the Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony. He presented trophies and cash prizes to the winners. Mr. Alamgir Shaikh awarded the highest break (U17) to Muhammad Farhan Ali, while Barjees Khan received Rs. 70,000 along with a trophy for winning the U21 title.
