- Had a younger brother, actor Jansen, who died at age 28 in 2023.
- Was homeschooled.
- Started appearing in commercials at the age of eleven months.
- Had roles in the soap operas One Life to Live (1994 – 1997) and Guiding Light (1996 – 2000).
- Gained recognition for starring in the television series Heroes (2006 – 2010)
