• Born on August 14, 1983, in Chernivtsi, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
• Has an elder brother, Michael.
• Grandparents were Holocaust survivors.
• Moved with her family to Los Angeles, California, at age seven, migrating under a religious-refugee visa.
• Enrolled in acting classes when she was nine.
• Made her television debut on Days of Our Lives in 1994.
• Gained fame for portraying Jackie Burkhart in the sitcom That ‘70s Show (1998 – 2006).
• Has since appeared in films including Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Max Payne (2008), Black Swan (2010), Ted (2012), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), Bad Moms (2016) and its sequel A Bad Moms Christmas (2017), and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025).
• Has also voiced Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy since 1999.
